Looks like an issue with the kernel/firmware on Loboris's image (which DietPi is built on).
Replicated the same issue on my system. wlan0 tries to come up, but fails to establish a connection.

It manages to scan, but the SSID's value obtained is incorrect. eg: TP-LINK_2.4ghz_BBBA0F instead of "My_SSID"
