Hide lines with filters instead of just removing from active file or showing in new window #60981

Done, I hope.

I am happy with it but I would love a way to "hide" lines from the editor such that filters could hide lines leaving only included lines visible and availble for editing. I realize this is getting into Emacs territory. Could use "folding" code, maybe? It could be a mode of the Search/Replace dialog. You would need to show in sidebar or status that lines were hidden. I get that this is problematic. Just an idea.

Use case - filtering down a "TODO list" and making bulk edits easier, etc.
