You can pass a hashtable to #requires -Modules that is effectively converted to a [Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.ModuleSpecification] instance behind the scenes.

The linked topic only mentions keys ModuleVersion and RequiredVersion, and neglects to mention MaximumVersion, which is also supported.

As an aside, [Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.ModuleSpecification] deserves mentioning in about_Modules: where it can be used, and how it relates to the parameters of cmdlets such as Import-Module.
