[4.7.5] "Find file" dialogue: Input line for "content" unusable #2462
Comments
Screen-shot of "Find File" dialogue, with the field "Content:" not accessible |
Okay, scratch this. Sorry for the noise. I encountered the problem with MC running in a non-English language. There the solution was not obvious. From my screen-shot (in English) I see now that I must tick an additional checkbox to make things work. |
|
"Search for content" checkbox should be checked on by default. |

Merged to master.
Cherry-picked to 4.7.5-stable. |

In the dialogue for MC 4.7.5's "Command => Find file ..." command, the input line "Content:" is not accessible. Using the TAB key skips that field. Clicking with the mouse onto it does not bring up a blinking cursor in the field (attempted in an xterm window).
If I can figure out how, then I will I attach a screen-shot to this report.
