Important

This issue was migrated from Trac:

Reporter psprint (sg44567@….com)

The patch adds options -w/--cascade and -T/--tile to mc program so that startup with windows arranged in a cascade or tile is possible (instead of fullscreen). The patch depends on #4184 and #4185, which implement the window arranging.

These are editor-specific options. Should be applicable only for mcedit command. Should be visible in help if built --with-internal-edit. Must be described in man page.

Choice of "w" for "cascade" mode looks strange.
