We're adding the ability to select which version you want your server to run on Minehut in the near future. Please use this thread to suggest different server types / platforms that you'd like to be available, and provide a link to their website (ideally home page or wherever you can access a download).

While you don't need to define every version of a platform you'd like, it wouldn't hurt. By default, we'll grab as many as we can find and make them all available.

Not sure if it relates, and I know it's also planned, but a bungeecord proxy obviously 😄 .

I also believe it would be a good incentive for people to get server plans if you included server types such as Pixelmon, Tekkit, FTP, or other popular and cool mods — which require more ram and performance to run. Just an idea, though.

fabric with FabricProxy-Lite preinstalled and vanilla with VanillaCord

This isn't how we're going to be handling those versions. We have them planned, and there's other issues with fabric and fabricproxy-lite, don't worry though they are planned 👍

You could use viafabric instead of viaversion and there is a version of geyser and floodgate available for fabric.

Magma Server is the top of the list for me, both 1.12.2 and 1.16.5 because those are the exact versions my modpacks are on

Add Fabric 1.18.1 and update the loader version as some mods (like Universal Graves) depend on it.

Can we get purpur as a server jar I think it would be nice for minehut to allow it since it adds a lot of customisability and is better than paper when it comes to performance. Also as a developer it adds a couple extra anonymous events which are nice to have access to.

https://github.com/Wind-Development/WindSpigot
Windspigot is a fork of Nachospigot which is already on minehut, but Nachospigot recently stopped development.

Maybe add regular BungeeCord, CraftBukkit, Purpur, Quartz, HexaCord, Travertine, and TacoSpigot. @drtshock

Travertine isn't developed anymore, it got replaced with velocity.
Craftbukkit is a compatibility nightmare, most plugins are written with spigot api so they won't work.
Bungeecord sure, but why not just use waterfall?
Other than that the list seems fine

@BennyDoesStuff

BungeeCord will not be compatible under our network so we cannot add it. Waterfall is effectively an improved version so it wouldn't make any sense to not use it.

Hey, there are 2 Server Software I would really like to see in Minehut in the near future, Pufferfish and Purpur.

Pufferfish:

Description:
Pufferfish is a highly optimized Paper fork designed for large servers requiring both maximum performance, stability, and "enterprise" features.

Features:

-Sentry Integration Easily track all errors coming from your server in excruciating detail
-Better Entity Performance Reduces the performance impact of entities by skipping useless work and making barely-noticeable changes to behavior
-Partial Asynchronous Processing Partially offloads some heavy work to other threads where possible without sacrificing stability
-8x Faster Map Rendering Reduces or eliminates lag spikes caused by plugins like ImageOnMap or ImageMaps
-30% faster hoppers over Paper (Airplane)
-Reduced GC times & frequency from removing useless allocations, which also improves CPU performance (Airplane)
-Fast raytracing which improves performance of any entity which utilizes line of sight, mainly Villagers (Airplane)
-Built-in profiler which has 0 performance hit and easy to read metrics for both server owners and developers (Airplane)
-Faster crafting, reduction in uselessly loaded chunks, faster entity ticking, faster block ticking, faster bat spawning, and more!
-Complete compatibility with any plugin compatible with Paper
-And more coming soon...
Purpur:

Description:
Purpur is a drop-in replacement for Paper servers designed for configurability, and new fun and exciting gameplay features.

Features:
There is actually way too much to list here, there are so many features in Purpur, that if Minehut adds this, it would instantly be the best Server Hosting Service out there, no questions asked!

Please just take a look at it, if its possible to add Purpur to the server by hand, please let me know!
