Any of the commits listed here
causes ~190 SQL tests to fail only on Darwin, FreeBSD & Solaris with error messages like

QUERY = select * from optimizer_stats() stats;
ERROR = !SELECT: no such operator 'optimizer_stats'

i.e., existing functions are not found (anymore).

In fact, everything appears to still work fine with
but fails with
(well, tested only with
as compilation fails in between due to missing file(s))

See also bug #3031.
