The MonetDB daemon crashes on ARM virtual machines, when using the monetdb release command. I will try to test on actual hardware.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. monetdbd create /path/to/dbfarm
  2. monetdbd start /path/to/dbfarm
  3. monetdb create test_db
  4. monetdb release test_db

The crash is caused by an incorrect cast to char when using fgetc at msabaoth.c line 852.
