@blookie

Hi,

At first I thought this was a problem within my application but I checked on the demo page and the problem is still there.

Using Internet Explorer 8, if I open a textarea keyboard and hit the enter key say 5 times, I do not get 5 break lines, just one. And if I try to write anything after hitting enter 5 times it comes out like this:

q
w
e
r
ty qwerty qwerty

Works fine in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. I can't try IE 9 since i'm on XP.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I did a workaround for this by changing:

if (tag === 'TEXTAREA' && $(e.target).closest('button').length) {
            base.insertText('\n');
        }

To:

if (tag === 'TEXTAREA' && $(e.target).closest('button').length) {
            base.insertText(' ');
            base.insertText('\n');
        }
