MultiMc with forge doesn't work (Tried on 1.8.9 and 1.12.2

Summary of the issue or suggestion:
Whenever I try to load an instance that I'd installed forge on it doesn't load. Vanilla loads perfectly fine though.

Steps to reproduce the issue (Add more if needed):

1. Download forge using "Install Forge"

2. Attempt to load it

Can you run Minecraft without forge?

What ram is allocated to the JVM? This isn't an out of memory error, but what arguments are being passed to java, as something might not work with forge.

What is your forge version as well?

Click other downloads and use the x64 offline if required. Then change your java path in multimc to the one you just installed.

If you don't change your java path in MMC it will still use the other java.

If you have the official mc launcher, you can use the java bundled with it, but this isn't recommended.

Yes. Select the correct javaw binary in multimc after installing it. The install location is something like C:\Program Files\Java\jre-<version>. Youll need to translate that to Mac for me though
