I am trying to install NTRTsim and am having some issues.

When I run setup.sh (bash setup.sh) I received an install failure, and boost initialization failed.

This was the process I followed
sudo apt-get install g++
sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-dev
sudo apt-get install curl
sudo apt-get install freeglut3
sudo apt-get install freeglut3-dev
sudo apt-get install cmake
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install unzip
cd /usr/local/src/NTRTsim-master [file location]
bash setup.sh

and then it ran for a while and eventually told me "install failed"
Can anyone give me some help on installing it properly?

That's a known issue, it's discussed further here:

#2

If you run setup.sh again, it should complete successfully.

Perry,

Thank you very much that seemed to have worked so I am moving onto running
build.sh.

My name is Adam Short by the way and I am a grad student at Colorado School
of Mines working on a NSTRF grant, and am trying to get NTRT work for
preliminary work.

Thank you Again,

Adam

No problem!

As an aside, you should join the NTRT users' mailing list (if you haven't already). The NTRT site (http://ti.arc.nasa.gov/tech/asr/intelligent-robotics/tensegrity/ntrt/) contains further details.

Adam,
Welcome to the NTRT project! We also have a couple other NSTRF fellows working on the project, so you are in good company!
could you drop us a note about what your research project will be? i'm very curious to know how folks are using NTRT.
you can write back to me directly at:
vytas.sunspiral@nasa.gov if you wish.

also, I encourage you to join the NTRT user mailing list for this discussions.
