This is a suggested RC for Navcoin Core.

This release introduces OpenAlias, wallet support for bootstrapping and some GUI fixes.

Please see the release notes here:
https://github.com/NAVCoin/navcoin-core/blob/v4.3.0-rc/doc/release-notes/release-notes-4.3.0.md

This branch will now go into a minimum 4 week cool down and community test period.

Release candidate builds can be downloaded for here:

I'm still testing and will update this comment as I continue.

4.3 Testing

I have tested the following on MacOS:

  • Wallet runs and can connect to peers + send/receive payment ✅
  • Automatic Wallet Bootstrapping ✅
  • resolveopenalias command ✅
  • generate rpc command timestamp check ✅
  • Using the regtest will create a new genesis block on runtime if there is no existing chaindata ✅
  • The development-focused networks "regtest" and "devnet" no longer require peers for blocks generation ✅
  • Using validateaddress with an OpenAlias address ✅
