There is currently a single SqlPersistenceEngine, into which various SqlDialects are plugged in. It's designed to open connection, open transaction and execute a single command (NonQuery, Scalar etc).
PersistCommit now performs an insert and returns the generated checkpoint number. SqlCe doesn't support RETURNS, nor does it support batched queries in a single command. So to fix this I'll need to heavily refactor SqlPersistenceEngine and/or create SqlCePersistenceEngine. I'd prefer not to do this if isn't being used. Make project leaner etc.
I've put a message out to the Google group and twitter to see if anyone uses it.
Fixes #245 Drop SqlCE support.
I am using it at the moment for development time. Sql ce is fairly lightweight thats why I like to use it for dev/experimentation. Is there an alternative if you dont have sql express installed and you dont want to use ravendb?
