Berks version error when running 'vagrant up'

When running the 'vagrant up' command, I get the following error:

It may be related to the order of paths in the $HOME variable. How can I resolve this issue?

It may be advisable to remove the Berks, Chef, Capistrano, and Virtualbox installation requirements, as they are in some cases preventing installation. See: #40, #33, #26, #20
