Collaboratively edit jupyter notebooks

The jupyter team is working on the ability to collaboratively edit a jupyter notebook. That project is here. CHX is sort of doing this currently by sharing the same notebook on the file system and opening it up in jupyter and editing it and then saving it. This is a workflow that is working for them (and they are aware of the pitfalls of doing this, such as two people editing it at the same time). I have no sense of how difficult it would be to integrate colaboratory into jupyterhub (probably very) or if colaboratory is even stable enough to be used.

It seems like they have shifted their focus: CoLaboratory is no longer being actively developed or maintained. We will consider minor pull requests, but most of the CoLaboratory team's focus is now on integration of Google Drive with IPython/Jupyter.
