Thrift Exception while trying to read a non-existent counter column #116

I am evaluating Astyanax for use in my application, where I have a query for a counter type column. In case the column is not there yet, I get an exception (below).
When I remove the code bit that asks for this column, the exception does not occur, which makes me think that there is an issue with querying non-existent columns...

This is expected behavior as specified in the Thrift API.
