Changes:

  • New socket connection to NiceHash servers

    • This is a new method to get paying rates, balances and version updates
    • Sends device info to NiceHash periodically that can be viewed online
    • Uses less bandwidth and allows more fluid API updates
  • Device info monitoring

    • Mining status, temperature, load and fan speed are uploaded periodically to NiceHash servers for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs
    • Mining status and load are uploaded for CPUs
    • To view the data, you must be logged in to an account on the NiceHash website and mining with the associated Bitcoin address. You can then see your rig stats on the https://new.nicehash.com/miner/ page.
    • More details are available in the Wiki
  • Upgrade to .NET 4.5 targeting

    • For Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 users: .NET 4.5 Framework or higher must be installed from Microsoft. This may already be installed on your system since it is needed for many other applications
    • For Windows 8/Server 2012 and up: .NET 4.5 or higher is included with your OS and installed by default
  • Upgrade to x64 targeting

    • NiceHash Miner Legacy will no longer run on 32 bit systems (although 64 bit was already required for miners)
  • ClaymoreDual updated to 9.8

    • Allows use of CD on up to the 36th GPU (up from 10th)

Fixes:

  • Main and settings windows may be cut off when run at low resolutions #72

  • Default Keccak intensity on sgminer fixed #91

  • Language improvements (thank you @adem4ik, @computeronix and @drkskwlkr)

  • Minor fixes for Claymore miners

This version is intended for experienced miners. If you are new to NiceHash or mining in general, it is recommended you try out NiceHash Miner 2. Components of NHML may get flagged by anti-virus software. Users should be comfortable managing AV/Firewall exceptions.
