# RLM Changelog **Revision**: 1.5 This document tracks all changes, updates, and improvements made to the Realism Location Marker (RLM) project. --- ## Version 7.3.6 **Release Date**: 23 August 2026 ### Fixed - **Create Building false fail** — a successful MissionChief create no longer shows **Failed - Try Again**. Stable was treating Bootstrap `alert-danger` in the success page as a form reject and never checked `/api/buildings`. Create now confirms a station actually appeared; real failures still show Failed. Tampermonkey stable loader: **7.3.6**. Check for updates in Tampermonkey or reload the game. --- ## Version 7.3.5 **Release Date**: 20 August 2026 ### What's new - **POI Statistics** — live counts from `/api/poi-stats` (indexed, OSM total, coverage); no more placeholder numbers - **Start Vehicles** — navbar settings per world from `/api/start-vehicles` (replaces hardcoded US/DE building-type IDs) - **Discord Panel** — loads through the modular feature system like Dashboard - **FBI & RNLI POI types** — defined once in `RLMExtraPoiTypes`; FBI on US only, RNLI on UK only - **Map clustering** — dense city views cluster POIs (400+ in view) instead of dumping thousands of icons - **Truncation banner** — map warns when the 10 000 POI viewport cap or clustering is in effect - **Antimeridian support** — POI fetches split at ±180° so Alaska / Pacific / dateline views stay complete ### Fixed - **Create Building** — retries transport errors, validates real success, shows **Failed - Try Again** instead of stuck “Creating…” - **Unnamed POIs** — null / blank / “To Be Confirmed” names get **Edit Name** - **Mixed POI pins** — stale fetch guard + debounced pan/zoom reload (one request per gesture) - **Names with `%`** — building create no longer throws on percent signs in OSM names - **Status-edit cooldown** — 409 pending/rejected edits show the same warning modal as name edits - **Create without jQuery** — building POST and start-vehicle discovery fall back to `fetch` - **Popup XSS** — POI names, addresses, and edit modals escape HTML; `escapeHtml(undefined)` no longer prints “undefined” - **Tampermonkey sandbox** — map and Leaflet resolve via `unsafeWindow` / page window helpers - **Placeholder addresses** — create no longer sends the literal string `placeholder address` - **Block / cooldown checks** — use GM `apiClient` so CORS cannot skip the warning UI - **MCID on edits** — name/status edits send the logged-in MissionChief ID reliably - **Double popup clicks** — Create / Edit handlers bind once per marker popup - **POI types failure** — dropdown shows **⚠ Failed to load POI types** with retry - **API timeouts** — 30s timeout on GM requests so hung `/api/pois` calls fail cleanly - **Navbar detection** — Bootstrap 4/5 and LSSM fallbacks; stops infinite polling on non-map pages - **Dashboard Back** — closes the overlay instead of calling `history.back()` - **CSRF on create** — Rails `authenticity_token`, `utf8=✓`, and `X-CSRF-Token` header - **Usage headers** — feature API calls send `X-RLM-Version` and user/alliance IDs - **POI emoji** — popup Type line uses API emoji with singular/plural/OSM-tag fallbacks - **Links** — Changelog menu opens the GitHub wiki; blocked-user appeal uses the current Discord invite ### Known issues (still open) - **Build dropdown matching** — fire/police can over-match (e.g. Airport Fire); dispatch/prison/RNLI build types may be missing on some worlds (**S5**) - **Dispatch centres** — string vs number ID mismatch can hide Leitstelle options (**S7**) - **Name-edit POI type** — review queue may get display labels instead of OSM tags (**S11**) - **Police / config worlds** — loader `country` can be overwritten; police hosts may get wrong building catalog (**S12**) - **Version strings** — navbar/logs may still disagree with the loader header until unified (**S13**) - **POI dropdown placement** — still lives inside Leaflet attribution; can vanish if attribution is rewritten (**S14**) Tampermonkey stable loader: **7.3.5**. Check for updates in Tampermonkey or reinstall from the [Installation Guide](Installation-Guide).
