Derek Stewart requested that the background be configurable as he preferred Saturn to Jupiter. :-)

I've "stolen" Cristian's excellent background image from the QLForum thread on QL Jokes at https://qlforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2638&start=10&hilit=ql+jokes as the default background image, save the file background.jpg to the same folder as the QStripper executable and it will be used as the main window's background. (Thanks Cristian.)

If you do download a Linux file, make sure that you rename it to QStripper and remember to make it executable:

mv Linux64_QStripper QStripper
chmod ug+x QStripper

The Windows downloads will require a further download of the WindowsSupportFiles.zip file from Release 1.15. Extract the zip to the same folder as the QStripper.exe and you will be good to go.

Also found here will be the source code for this release. You don't actually need it, but you might wish to see how it's done. Perhaps.

Enjoy.

This release, 1.15, is the first from QStripper's new home on Github.

The final version from SourceForge was 1.14, which had a couple of bugs in it, and those bugs are fixed in this release.

On here there will be binaries for Linux 64bit, Linux 32bit, Windows (32/64bit) but sadly, no more Raspberry Pi versions. Since 2012, when the first Raspberry Pi was released, there have been 6 downloads of that version.

If you do download a Linux binary file, make sure that you rename it to QStripper.

The Windows downloads will require a further download of the WindowsSupportFiles.zip file in this release. Extract the zip to the same folder as the QStripper.exe.

The source files here are those that correspond to the final release from Source Forge. This was release 1.14 and the very day after it was uploaded, it was found to have bugs in the command line version whereby --asc and --rst were rejected as valid command line parameters. Hmmm.
