[Bug]: UI scaling resets to 100% when switching profiles on Windows Desktop

Bug Description

On the Windows Desktop version, the custom UI scaling setting fails to persist correctly when switching profiles or restarting the application. Specifically, if the UI scale is set to 125% in one profile, reopening the app or switching back to that profile often causes the UI to revert to the default 100% scale.

Steps to Reproduce

1. run windows hermes,select one profile
2. open setting. appearance, ui scale
3. set to 125%, ui is up to 125%
4. close hermes
5. open hermes, switch to the profile
6. open setting. appearance, ui scale is 100%

Expected Behavior

keep to the ui scale that i select

reset to 100%

Thanks for the report. This is already implemented on current main; automated hermes-sweeper review found that Desktop UI scale is persisted independently of profile backend configuration.

• apps/desktop/electron/main.ts:4742-4779 writes the chosen zoom level to localStorage and restores it on application load.
• apps/desktop/electron/main.ts:6895-6899 restores that value after did-finish-load; profile switching reloads the same window at apps/desktop/electron/main.ts:7221-7229.
• The Appearance UI routes its scale presets through that persistence path (apps/desktop/src/app/settings/appearance-settings.tsx:418).
• This shipped with 8ce3c2f99152e20be26abe604c57929fb8496dc7 in Hermes Agent v0.18.1 (v2026.7.7).
