Reduce the number of files in GlacierDirectories #367

I have two ideas on how to achieve this:

  • the small, "metadata-like" information should all be stored in a single dict/pickle. Examples include: dem_source, climate_info, prcp_fac_optim, mu_candidates, inversion_params, linear_mb_params, calving_output...

  • the shapefiles could be stored as .zip instead of the many files needed by the format (.shp, .prj, .xml, etc)
