Lore

Located in the Iron rich mountains, Nogrod was founded as a mining operation to fill the needs of warriors still fighting monsters in Heill, a function it still fulfills today. This town sports the second gym that a trainer encounters on their journey. Formerly based on Rock type pokemon the gym leaders have switched over to Steel types to better represent their town’s history of mining for sturdy materials. The majority of the town is underground in a vast cavern left behind by the former miners in search for precious resources. Along with the Gym, Nogrod houses a lively bar within its cavernous depths. Most of the town’s shops and Pokecenter are topside for the convenience of passing travelers.

Unique Areas

A mountainous town dictated by a large series of underground caves. the cavernous aesthetic of the town drags many curious eyes to the features, such as a pool of water trickling down the mountain the town sits on, a large bridge over the main cavern, small spots of vegetation in the cave, and long corridors of mines.
