Using an outdated client can yield the warning message in the Octopus server log:

Earlier version of OctopusClient detected. For optimal use we recommend upgrading OctopusClient to at least version 4.43.0, along with any Octopus build serer extensions to their latest version.

It's difficult to tell who is using an outdated client. Add the user to the warning message.
