The bug

If there are no Environments (or the user doesn't have permissions to see any), the Dashboard doesn't load and the search bard actually finds results but it doesn't render them.

What I expected to happen

  • If the Dashboard cannot render because the I'm missing something (a Project, an Environment, etc), I expect to see a message telling me what is it that I'm missing.

  • The search bar should only show up when everything is in place to render a dashboard (in this case, when there's at least 1 Project and 1 Environment).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make sure there are no Environments in your Instance and at least 1 project.
  2. Go to Dashboard
  3. In the search bar try to filter by one of your project names
  4. See error
