Timeout downloading package form external NuGet feed #5617

When downloading packages form External NuGet feeds, the default 60s timeout can be too short. The error on a transfer package step will be similar to:

Unable to download package [package name] from NuGet feed ... The HTTP request to 'GET [package url]' has timed out after 60000ms.

This timeout should be much longer, or configurable.

Affected versions

This issue exists in all existing versions with this feature.

Unless you can increase the speed of the download, there are no known workarounds.
