Odysee Sync 26.5.4
This release improves downloads-folder safety, startup recovery, and sync reliability across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
What's Changed
- Added a guided migration flow for existing downloads folders that contain unrelated files.
- Odysync now requires its downloads storage to be in a managed folder before sync starts.
- Users can choose a new empty folder or create a managed subfolder inside the current downloads folder.
- Known Odysync files are copied and verified during migration; unrelated files in the old folder are left untouched.
- Improved startup recovery after changing the downloads folder.
- Improved local library batching and fallback titles.
- Reduced SQLite contention and duplicate upload attempts.
- Improved downloads list refresh behavior so filters stay accurate and rows are less likely to jump around.
- Added clearer reset and cleanup errors when local data cannot be removed.
- Improved upload and download integrity checks.
