Checklist is a custom Teams message extension app that enables you to collaborate with your team by creating a shared checklist in a chat or channel. Checklist app is supported across all platforms – Teams desktop, browser, iOS, and Android clients. It is ready for deployment as part of your existing Microsoft 365 subscription.

Key features

  • Checklist creation: Easily create Checklist, click Menu (…) below the box where you type your message. Name your checklist and add items to the checklist. You can add as many as 100 items to a checklist. When you are done, click Send Checklist to publish your checklist.

  • Mark checklist items as completed: To mark items of a checklist as completed, choose an item on the checklist card, and click  Save Changes. As people in your group or channel mark items, you will see updates to the response summary on the checklist card.

  • Add new checklist items: To add new items to the checklist, click Edit Checklist.. Add new items to the checklist by clicking on Add Item. Completed section show all the completed checklist items with the details of who completed the item and the time of completion. Also, download a .csv file of your checklist items by selecting Download Report.
