Age-dependent scaling of hepatic and renal clearance #341

Hello. I noticed that in the published paper (A Mechanistic Approach for the Scaling of Clearance in Children 2006), scaling of renal clearance in children is calculated by the following two equations:
DAQR103H){QD{JLSP4`RVTB
corresponding to glomerular filtration and tubular secretion, respectively.
My question is, if the renal clearance is defined as specfic kidney plasma clearance, should the calculating equation be
CL(kidney,child) = V(child)/V(adult) × fu(child)/fu(adult) × CL(kidney,adult) ?
where V is the age-dependent kidney volume.
Another doubt is that how the age dependent adjustment runs for a Michaelis-Menten kinetics described with Km and kcat.
