Title of the proposed training position:
Across-Species Scaling of Monoclonal Antibody Pharmacokinetics
Using PK-Sim

Sanofi is currently seeking a talented and innovative PBPK trainee to join our Translational Medicine & Early Development department located at our research and development site in Alfortville, France. As a PBPK intern, you will work under the guidance of senior staff scientists, to define a framework for the prediction of pharmacokinetics profiles of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies across different animal species with the objective to optimize the prediction of human concentration profiles and the design of clinical trials. You will also have the opportunity to attend seminars and other activities in our department to enhance your understanding of the drug development process. Further, there will be opportunities to present the project results to all quantitative scientists and other stakeholders.

Location and duration:
The activity is based in Alfortville (near Paris), France
The internship can be conducted between November 2019 and December 2020 with a minimal duration of six months.

• Previous training or experience with PK-Sim and R are highly welcome
• Good understanding of physiology and in vitro readouts related to pharmacokinetic processes
• Ability to conduct bibliographic searches
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of French language is an advantage but not a requirement

The candidate must be enrolled with good academic results to a master in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics or similar education programs in an European university.
