OpenConext is an open source collaboration management platform; a service that enables groups, teams, or organizations to bring together a set of federated tools such as wikis, mailing lists, or video conference software for use in a collaboration.

Individuals can log in with the credentials from their institution or organization and create groups, select applications, and begin their collaboration with others.
