Error installing OpenFAST

Three errors occurred while building the solution in Visual Studio,

error The handle is invalid. DISCON_ITIBarge.F90
error The handle is invalid. DISCON_OC3Hywind.F90

Dear experts, I've tried this many times and keep getting this error.

A couple of questions to help clarify:

• What version of OpenFAST are you using (or git hash)?
• What version of Visual Studio?
• What Fortran compiler do you have installed with VS?

Can you include a screenshot?

First, I downloaded and installed Visual studio community 2022, intel-fortran-compiler-2026.0.0.566_offline, intel-oneapi-toolkit-2026.0.0.193_offline, intel-onemkl-2026.0.0.907_offline;
Then, I downloaded openfast from GitHub;（v5.0)/
Open the OpenFAST.sln file located in the vs-build folder within the OpenFAST folder using Visual Studio,

I can't reproduce this issue locally. Searching online seems to indicate it is an issue with Visual Studio, either due to the version (I thought it was only <17.10 versions), or due to antivirus software of some kind.

Do you have any non-ascii characters in your file path? I doubt this is the issue, but it is possible that is creating issues for VS.
