OpenViva v0.2.0 is now based off of 0.8 instead of 0.9

Please Note: Your Saves from 0.8 will not work

Heres the Changelog:

  • Reimplemented Tiredness

  • Reimplemented Proximity

  • Added Map teleportation(onsen, town, home)

  • Added a variation of the Indoor theme

  • Added a Potato quality setting

  • Added a performance warning for Ultra quality

  • Added Raymarching Clouds(Not recommended in VR)

  • Added a Discord Button

  • Added a out of bounds check for characters

  • Added unused music to the Town and Onsen

  • Updated ingame logo to current New Viva Logo(not OpenViva logo)

  • Updated About Section in the pause book

  • Updated to Unity 2021.3.4f1

  • Fixed the tutorial Ring being always active

  • Fixed Footstep's not playing the right sound in some area's

  • Fixed character clothing not rendering properly through water

  • Fixed hints not rotating with the player

  • Fixed gestures not being reconized by the tutorial

  • Fixed some LOD's

  • Cleaned up the terrain

  • Tutorial now destroys tutorial objects when leaving the tutorial

  • Player can no longer run when crouched

  • Made lamps Non-grabbable

  • Optimized colliders on large objects

Theres more i just dont remember everything

We now use OpenXR instead of OpenVR
Please let us know if you have any issues with VR compared to Viva 0.8

Known issues:

  • Character cooking and bathing do not work
  • Interacting with items can be very buggy compared to the original 0.8 release (source code b0ss provided had some new bugs)
  • There May be some issues with characters sometimes not sleeping properly
