OpenVnmrJ 1.1A
Updated Tuesday September 27, 2016.
- This version of OpenVnmrJ is equal to VnmrJ 4.2A plus the 110 patch plus
- On OS X: Compiles using clang and uses of dynamic libraries for pulse programs
- Generates version information, including git SHA1
- Autoproc was not removing entries from psgQ
- qtune could fail on Mercury systems (any experiment with sw=1000 could fail!)
- svfj macro used obsolete Linux command finger
- Added 'next' option to atcmd
- openvnmrj-utils was added as an application directory
- ovjapps lists submitted applications
- ovjsubmit allows an application directory to be submitted for sharing
- extract for ChemPack is included
- Remember this should be tested on Mercury/Inova (the MI version) or VnmrS/DD2/Propulse
- Installation will be parallel with any existing VnmrJ 4.2 install–components from VnmrJ 4.2 are copied into OpenVnmrJ
- Do not delete your VnmrJ 4.2 install—Agilent service will not support this version
- This release was built on CentOS 6.8 using John Ryan's kickstarter CentOS image
- This software should run on RHEL or CentOS 6.3 to 6.8dvdImageOVJMI
- Please file a bug report if you have any issues!
Pre-installation instructions
- OpenVnmrJ requires several .686 (32-bit) packages that are not installed by default
- The installer will alert to you to missing packages, and make a script in /tmp/agilent_preinstall
- You may start with John Ryan's CentOS Kickstarter image on http://spinsights.chem.agilent.com, but this requires a fresh install of CentOS 6.8
- Select the version appropriate for your hardware
- dvdImage_OpenVnmrJ_1.1A_DD2.tbz works on VnmrS, DD2, ProPulse, 400MR(DD2) consoles
- dvdImage_OpenVnmrJ_1.1A_MI.tbz works on Mercury-VX and Inova consoles
- For a CentOS/RHEL workstation use dvdImage_OpenVnmrJ_1.1A_DD2.tbz

- For VNMRS and later systems download the "DDR" release and untar it to get a directory called dvdimageOVJ
- tar jxf dvdImage_OpenVnmrJ_1.1A_DD2.tbz
- cd dvdimageOVJ
- ./load.nmr
- For Mercury and Inova systems download the "MI" release and untar it to get a directory called dvdimageOVJMI
- tar jxf dvdImage_OpenVnmrJ_1.1A_MI.tbz
- cd dvdimageOVJMI
- ./load.nmr
