NAME

Personal-Search - Search what you really want to search

SYNOPSIS

Point your browser at index.html and go.

If you don't want to download it, check it out live.

PREVIEW

personal search preview

DESCRIPTION

People often search the same sites over and over. This tool allows you to create your own, personal searches of just those sites you like to search. Do you search Amazon.com for books? Type in books beginning perl and that will search Amazon for my Beginning Perl book.

As a side effect, because no data is sent to a server other than the one you're searching on, no search engine could possibly track that search, though the site you land on might.

HTML5

Long-term I intend to take advantage of localStorage, so I have issues with using HTML5 now, though I do try to degrade gracefully.

ALPHA

This is only a proof of concept.
