Important: If you want to upgrade to PADS4 2025.1 your current PADS4 version needs to be at least PADS4 2022.3. That means that you will need to have PADS4 2022.3 installed & running before updating to 2025.1. Any version before this (PADS4 2022.2 and lower) will not automatically update to 2024.1 and you will need to perform an intermediate upgrade first to PADS4 2022.3.
New PADS4 HTML5 Viewer Launchers
- We have released a launcher for Windows, so now you can run the HTML5 Viewer on an account with limited rights like the kiosk mode of Windows.
- We have released a new generic android launcher that can be run on Android 8.1 and above, if the Android System WebView that is installed, is at least version 100.
- We have released a new launcher to run the HTML5 Viewer on the Sony Bravia devices, the supported model ranges are BZXXL and BZXXJ
- We have released two new launchers to run the HTML5 Viewer on IIyama devices, one for touch devices and one for signage displays, the supported models are the LHXX60HS-B1AG range and the TW1025LASC
- We have released a new launcher to run the HTML5 Viewer on AOpen devices, the first model we support with this app is the eTILE-X1032TP
PADS4 Web Designer
- The Web element has been added to the Web Designer
- You can now use data vaults in the Web Designer
- In the Web Designer you can now skip a page when the data vault provider doesn't return data
- In the Web Designer you can now filter your data vault provider using a static value, viewer variables or another colum
PADS4 CMS 2.0
- You can now create templates and messages with a different priority
- CMS Managers now have the option to see what is playing and scheduled on the viewers
- You can now manage your permissions on categories, templates and messages in CMS and limit access to those items for certain users
- You can now assign templates to viewers, so that those templates can only be scheduled to the assigned viewers.
- You can now view the archived messages in the publication overview
PADS4 Workspace
We improved the recurrence support in PADS4 Workspace and added the following functionality:
- Recurrence support has been implemented for the upcoming meetings of colleague’s overview
- The meeting check-in option has been implemented for recurrent meetings
- Recurrence meetings are now considered when calculating the workspace statistics
- When creating a recurrent meeting, it will now display the overlapping occurrences
Facebook/Instagram Data Provider
Your meta (Facebook/Instagram) credentials are now managed in the PADS4 CTRL Center, and these are now used to query the data in the Facebook and Instagram data provider
