The automated task appeared to stall out when it ran. When I closed it and re-ran, the client shows "renew after 8/5/2016" which to me says that it did try to renew, but I cannot find where it stored the renewed certificates.

I had originally requested them with --san and --centralsslstore, however, the scheduled task that was created does not have these options (not sure if that is really any issue).

I would like to try to run the renewal again and have seen references to other implementations that have the option (--renewal-by-default or --force-renew).

You should check your event log to see what was logged during the renewal.

You might have to enable debug logging and rerun the renewal again. However the renewals are currently driven off the registry (HKCU\Software\letsencrypt-win-simple\https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/\), so you will have to edit the registry key to change the date to make it try to renew the cert.

The san and centralsslstore options are stored in the registry information. That way only 1 renewal task is needed no matter what arguments you run the app with.

There isn't currently any other options besides the regular --renew.

My guess is that it either failed somewhere (enhancement request to fix that in #162), or the same issue as in #221 (comment).

Actually, this looks like it might be Issue #195 , so you can probably dupe this to that. I've added my thumbs up on that issue/request. Also, you might get more people here with that same issue if they followed this guide like I did: https://forums.servethehome.com/index.php?resources/letsencrypt-a-2012-r2-web-application-proxy.16/

Yep, the manual plugin doesn't support renewals right now, but will in the future.
