In the management utility, if you update an existing ServiceControl instance then you need to manually refresh the instance list to see your configuration change reflected in the UI.

To reproduce:

  • Open SCMU
  • Edit an existing instance
  • Change the Audit retention setting
  • Save
  • Edit the instance again
  • The Audit retention setting does not reflect the new value in the UI
  • The Config file has been updated and the instance has been restarted so it is using the new value
