The Wikimedia Toolserver is being phased out and will be shut down on 30 June 2014. Migrate all the tools to the new Wikimedia Tools Labs infrastructure before this date. To address before migration is complete:

  • Migrate code to Tools Labs usage (different server conventions, database names, columns, etc).
  • Rewrite stewardry (last script using the old framework).
  • Tools Labs has high latency with crosswiki tools because replicated database are in a separate datacenter (see discussion).
  • Tools Labs has missing tables in some replicated database (see bug report).
