Lamas

The link for each lama is generally their main webpage or reatreat center/monastery. These are teachers that I believe to hold the full Dudjom Tersar. Corrections/additions are welcome.

Locations

####Pilgrimage Sites

Yeshe Nyingpo (NYC) & Orgyen Chö Dzong Retreat Center (Greenville, NY)

HH Dudjom Rinpoche personally founded, lived at, taught at and gave wangs at these centers while still alive, so in addition to being under the direction of his self-appointed lineage holder, his own son, they are blessed by his own body speech and mind and are therefore the holiest pilgrimage places one could ever wish for in any of the Americas for a Dudjom practitioner. Also, his wife and spiritual consort Sangyum Kusho Rigdzin Wangmo entered into parinirvana in the NYC Yeshe Nyingpo center and remained in tukdam there for weeks.

Urgyen Samyé Chöling (Dordorgne, France)

HH Dudjom Rinpoche also eastablished Urgyen Samyé Chöling where he lived and practiced, taught, gave wangs, and took his parinirvana.

Urgyen Dongak Chöling (Boudhanath, Nepal)

Also known as the Dudjom Gompa, HH Dudjom Rinpoche's reliquary stupa is on display inside the temple and can be circumambulated during the day. This map is very helpful in finding it.

Pemaköd

The birthplace of HH Dudjom Rinpoche and one of the 108 hidden lands blessed by Guru Padmasambhava. This page is a small collection of relevant links.

Centers of Practice & Retreat

Not every center or group is practicing only the Dudjom Tersar, but I believe each one at the least can be where a beginner could get a Tersar ngondro iniation, is a practice group affiliated with a Tersar carrying lama, or conducts Tersar practice retreats. Centers that practice exclusively Dudjom Tersar are in bold.

MAP to every location below according to the info available. Tibetan and many Bhutanese locations are currently not pinned. Approximate locations are used when information is unavailable.

Traditional 3 year retreats are available at Orgyen Chö Dzong Retreat Center (Greenville, NY), Kunzang Gatshal (Delhi, NY), and Pema Osel Ling (Watsonville, CA).
