From ed_peschko@csgsystems.com

There seems to be a problem with PERL_POLLUTE, one that breaks many compiles
of different modules on CPAN -

Lots of modules assume definition of a symbol named sv_undef, which goes away
unless PERL_POLLUTE is defined. What's the best way to advertise this so that
modules inside of CPAN get fixed?
