$ perldoc perldoc
...
SYNOPSIS
  perldoc [-h] [-D] [-t] [-u] [-m] [-l] [-U] [-F]
  [-i] [-V] [-T] [-r]
  [-d destination_file]
  [-o formatname]
  [-M FormatterClassName]
  [-w formatteroption:value]
  [-n nroff-replacement]
  [-X]
  [-L language_code]
  PageName|ModuleName|ProgramName|URL

  Examples:

  perldoc -f BuiltinFunction
...

The first part of the synopsis is missing many options, including the (pretty
common) '-f' switch. It's mentioned in the first example, but why have the
terse overview at all if it's incomplete?

According to Porting/Maintainers.pl, the Pod-Perldoc distribution is maintained upstream on CPAN.

#####
  'Pod::Perldoc' => {
  'DISTRIBUTION' => 'MALLEN/Pod-Perldoc-3.28.tar.gz',
  'FILES' => q[cpan/Pod-Perldoc],
#####

Hence, this should be reported in that distribution's bug tracker.

Thank you very much.
