-----------------------------------------------------------------
This is a build failure report for 5.005_61 under HP-UX 10.20 when
using gccc 2.95.1. (I've seen this reported on c.l.p.*, but not on
p5p yet.) The build dies when compiling util.c:

`sh cflags libperl.a dump.o` dump.c
  CCCMD = gcc -DPERL_CORE -c -D_HPUX_SOURCE -I/usr/local/include -I/opt/local/include -O
`sh cflags libperl.a util.o` util.c
  CCCMD = gcc -DPERL_CORE -c -D_HPUX_SOURCE -I/usr/local/include -I/opt/local/include -O
util.c: In function `Perl_cast_iv':
util.c:2716: parse error before `l'

gcc -E shows the problem:

Perl_cast_iv( NV f)
{
  if (f >= 2147483647l ) {
  UV uv;

  if (f >= (NV) 4294967295u l )
  return (IV) 4294967295u l ;
  uv = (UV) f;

gcc doesn't appreciate the whitespace between the u and the l. Where it's
coming from, I've no idea.

HP's own ANSI C compiler sails right through.
