When doing a 'make install', I noticed a few errors from pod2man
flying by. Wanting to capture those errors, I did a

  $ make install > output 2> errors
  $ more errors

I was kind of surprised to see​:

  unlink /opt/devperl/bin/perl5.00557
  cp perl /opt/devperl/bin/perl5.00557
  chmod 755 /opt/devperl/bin/perl5.00557
  unlink /opt/devperl/bin/perl
  ln /opt/devperl/bin/perl5.00557 /opt/devperl/bin/perl
  unlink /opt/devperl/bin/a2p
  cp x2p/a2p /opt/devperl/bin/a2p
  chmod 755 /opt/devperl/bin/a2p
  cp utils/c2ph /opt/devperl/bin/c2ph

followed by another 1100 of such lines. What are these messages doing
on STDERR? This makes it a lot harder to find the real errors.
