I am in the process of researching the best photo management CMS to use and ran across Piwigo which looked like it might fit my needs that was until I landed here doing further research to see if Piwigo supports Apple Live Photos and it seems it doesn't. Can anyone confirm the current state of Piwigo and Apple Live Photos support?

As far as I know, it is not officially supported. You should be able to hover over the emoji icons in the comparison grid and click on an icon to be taken to the corresponding issue.
