Settings

  1. Before you import any books, we would strongly recommend to change the repository path. All books and some other data will be stored there and completely detached from the app files. In this case, you can install / uninstall app, the repository will remain. It is not a bad idea to put it on the location that is backed-up.
  2. When you go to the book details, you will have an option to export e-book file. If you don't have set a default export location, it will ask every time to select one. You can save a few clicks with this.

  1. Select to search in a specific folder and all subfolder or select books individually
  2. Confirm to start import. You can track the progress and clearly see the result of this import.

  1. Open book in the reader
  2. Mark as Want to read / Reading / Read
  3. Add to the shelf
  4. Edit book title. Once the new title is present, it will automatically try to find this book on internet and download some information.
  5. Book can have up to two different descriptions: red-only which is from the e-book file and one downloaded from internet. The second one can be edited. Once you have the editor open, you can use Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I, Ctrl+U shortcuts.
  6. Edit tags by simply entering tag names and separate them with , or ;
  7. You can change the book image by selecting an existing or uploading a new one.
  8. Trigger the search on internet. If it finds something it will ask to select the correct book and then download some metadata.
  9. Export e-book file.
  10. Deletes all book data.
  11. If you click on the author name or image, it will display all books from this author.
  12. Book series. If you click on this, it will display all books belong to this specific series.
  13. The description from internet (editable)
  14. The description from e-book file (read-only)
