FAQ for comp.lang.javascript

  1. In order to contribute to this FAQ, please create a pull request for the dev branch.
  • Your request will be reviewed in due course.
    • If your request is not immediately rejected, and not merely editorial in nature (such as fixing a borken link), it will be posted to the Usenet newsgroup comp.lang.javascript for public discussion.
      • You can follow the discussion using a newsreader, or via Web archives such as Google Groups (but please, DO NOT POST using the latter unless you have no other way; they are b0rked)
      • Depending on the outcome of the discussion, your pull request will be accepted or rejected.
  • If your request is rejected, and the reason is not obvious, the reason will be provided in the reject message.
  • If your request is accepted, it will be merged into the master branch for publication in due course. The targeted review cycle is 7 standard days after acceptance, but no guarantees.
  • If you have made a substantial contribution, your name and submitter e-mail address will be listed in the “Contributors” section at the bottom of the main document. (You can always find your contributions in the changelog.)
