In theory, this should work:

mySim <- simInit(...) # using stop time = 10
mySim <- spades(mySim)

simStopTime(mySim) <- 100
spades(mySim) # should continue the simulation from time 10 to 100

Need to:

  1. make sure it DOES work
  2. create unit test for this feature

Definitely need to update mySim... so the assignment is important in the spades call, so that it becomes iterative

simStopTime(mySim) <- 100
mySim <- spades(mySim)

so this will work for incrementing by 1, if i is defined

simStopTime(mySim) <- i
mySim <- spades(mySim)
i = i + 1
