Split GPG wrapper cannot do --export

When using the "Attach key" feature in Enigmail to send a copy of my public key, the following error comes up

Error - key extraction command failed
/usr/bin/qubes-gpg-client-wrapper --charset utf-8 --display-charset utf-8 --batch --no-tty --status-fd 2 -a --export 0x0F8C68B2
qubes-gpg-client: unrecognized option '--export'

Exporting a public key should be reasonably safe, so IMO it can be
simply added to allowed option set. But we need to make sure that under
no circumstances (some other options combination, or so) it will export
secret key!
