Consides upgrade to Xen 4.6 #1361

The primary gain would be enabling Eric Shelton work on new stubdomain code. But besides that, there are other significant improvements:

  • improved performance of grant-tables - affecting disk and network performance (according to release notes, in some cases doubling the throughput)
  • greatly improved libxl performance (for example affecting Qubes Manager #1288)
  • much more extensive testing (automated tests now includes for example stubdomains)
  • improved hardware support (according to reports on qubes-users)

Additionally, compared to the current 4.4, we'd get improvements of 4.5, for example:

  • SMAP support
  • better systemd integration

And of course a lot of bug fixes.
But of course, as with any software, probably also some bugs introduced...

This dependency will be automatically added, depending on libxen package
version installed in build environment

rpm: do not motify /etc/udev/rules.d/xen-backend.rules anymore 
Xen 4.6 no longer uses udev to call hotplug scripts.
