Implemented in http://git.qubes-os.org/?p=rafal/core.git;a=commit;h=9e9fd4c9bac77b2ce25b2aa5fd8adebda4a934a3
In order to take advantage of this in already existing AppVM, one needs to copy ~user/nautilus-scripts from
template to private.img.

This is hardly an acceptable solution -- can you imagine users tinkering under console in order to get their GUI file manger working? People who could do that would not need the GUI file manager in the first place.

To clarify - users that will install Beta1 will have it working out of the box.
Users that have backed up their pre-beta1 installation, installed beta1, will have to configure their existing appvms. New appvms will work out of the box.
From the quick research, there is no easy way to change the global nautilus configuration. Should this be researched more ?

Ah, I see. That's not that bad. We can leave it like that for now, and I will move this to Beta 2.

Perhaps we could do this copying in /etc/init.d/qubes_appvm start?

On my system (on a fresh AppVM) it takes about 1s to start nautilus file manager, while it takes about 6s (!) to start dolphin. KDE stinks, and we want to get rid of it as much as possible, also in AppVMs.
If that's something trivial, let's do it now, if not let's move it to Beta 2.
